First Meeting
We met in the fall of Matthew's first, and Emily's last, year of grad school at LSU. This is one of our first date events together!
Emily's Graduation
Emily graduates from the LSU MBA program! Matthew and Doobie hopped into some of the grad pics!
Long Distance Begins
Emily leaves Baton Rouge and moves to Dallas, TX, now beginning our long-distance relationship. This was Matthew's first visit after the move!
Geaux Tigers!
Lots of commuting for Emily and Matthew while dating long distance, but any excuse to watch the Tigers play is well worth the drive!
Wedding Season Begins
The first of many weddings together!
First Couple's Trip
The first couple's trip! Emily and Matthew visited his family in Jacksonville, Florida and made a pitstop at Disney World!
Matthew Moves to Dallas
Matthew moves to Dallas! We were too busy unpacking to take pictures, but thankfully captured a picture of Doobie sunbathing on his new balcony!
First House Together
We started renting our first house together! This was our first meal - pre-coffee or dining table.
Football Season Away From Home
Our first football season away from home together. Emily showed Matthew all of the go-to watch spots, like Texas Live!, Dodies, and Truckyard!
The Proposal
Matthew pops the question in the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden!

Known as the "Castle on the River," the Old Louisiana State Capitol stands as a testament to Gothic Revival architecture and the rich history of Louisiana.

Ceremony begins at 6:15 PM - Please arrive by 6:00 PM
Parking Information
Parking at the Old State Capitol is limited and restricted to vendors and the wedding party. We advise carpooling and parking in paid lots near the venue or using rideshare apps. If your hotel is located downtown, ask the receptionist if shuttle rides are available.
Accommodations
We have reserved a room block for our wedding guests with special group rates.

Join us as we exchange vows in the historic House Chambers. The ceremony starts at 6:15 PM.
Cocktail Hour
Enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the Rotunda
Reception
Celebrate with dinner, dancing, and festivities in the Senate Chambers until 10:00 PM
